Xbox Controller LED Mod

An Xbox Controller LED Mod can be a simple yet effective way to give your controller that wow factor. You can transform your normal dull xbox controller into a fancy piece of kit that all your mates will be jealous of with a simple xbox controller LED mod.

There are 2 main types of LED mod, both of which can be installed together if wanted. The first type is the ABXY button mod. This mod replaces the standard solid colour buttons on your controller with translucent buttons, each one with the correct coloured LED beneath it so that each button lights up in the correct colour.

The second type of xbox controller LED mod is the Ring Of Light (ROL) or Status Ring mod. As you will be aware, the xbox controller has the large button in the centre of the controller which lights up to show you which player you are, and also tells you when the batteries are running flat etc. The ROL mod can be one of two styles. You can either replace all 4 LEDs with a different colour (ie all blue), or alternatively you can replace each section of the ring with different colours, which are normally ABXY buttons.
